A message from the Branch Chairman (2011-2012 Season)
I'm very pleased to have been associated with the branch since day one in some capacity and was thrilled to be nominated as Chairman. I have seen the branch grow so much in the last ten years through hard work of our committee and the support of our members, I'm personally looking forward to the next ten years!
My love of Liverpool Football Club goes back to 1975 when my father took me to my first game at Anfield and it cost me 40p to go in and 12p for my programme, my how things have changed, I have been fortunate to see the highs of the Club in the Eighties but even though we may not have been as successful in later years my love of the game and passion for the Club have not changed.
To see us win the Premier League this year would be a dream come true, I say this quite often so I will say it now "This is going to be our year".
So let's go for it, after a poor season on the pitch last year hopefully we will have a great year on and off the pitch and I look forward to seeing our members on the bus at some point during "our year" and please if you have any ideas or have anything to say about the branch please don’t hesitate and contact myself or any committee member.
Yours in Sport - YNWA
Dei Owen - Branch Chairman |

HISTORY
The Denbighshire Branch was formed in September 2000, by three Liverpool supporters from Denbigh. A meeting of Liverpool supporters who were interested in the formation of a supporters club in the area was arranged, and a committee was elected. This was the beginning of the Denbighshire Liverpool F.C. Supporters Club.
In August 2001, nearly twelve months after its formation, the supporters club was invited to become an Official Branch of the Liverpool Supporters Club Branch network, who are called the 'Association of International Branches'. The invitation was accepted and the Branch was now officially recognised by Liverpool Football Club.
The Branch is run by a strong committee, who are elected, and up for re-election yearly at the Branch A.G.M. The committee consists of a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, supported by 8 additional members. Committee meetings are held every month to discuss and arrange such issues as, Promoting and Developing the Branch, Youth Development, Finances, the Website, and activities and events for members.
The Branch and its committee is administered by the rules and constitution of the 'Association of International Branches' and minutes of all committee meetings are taken and kept as a record.
At the end of each Season we also have a Sportsman's Evening with a Liverpool Legend as the Guest Speaker. Over the last few years we have had Phil Thompson, Roy Evans, Jan Molby and many more.
PURPOSEThe Denbighshire Branch exists in order to uphold and enhance the good name of Liverpool Football Club and its supporters within the county, establish friendly links with Liverpool Football Club and their supporters throughout the United Kingdom and indeed the World, and also to encourage supporters from the area to get together through organized activities and events.
